Head of Development
We are seeking an exceptional Head of Development to join our team. As the Head of Development, you will be responsible for motivating, inspiring and supporting a collaborative team of 50+ Engineers who are working remotely. Your role will be mostly hands-off, but you will need to keep up to date with the latest advancements in tech to guide the development projects of the company's platform for algorithmic trading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers or platforms, ensuring their professional growth and performance
- Encourage collaboration and innovation in the workplace
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of development projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Сrossfunctional collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with business objectives
- Optimize delivery routes, reduce delivery costs, and ensure on-time delivery
Key Skills Required:
- An Agile leader with commercial experience leading a development team
- Experience mentoring, coaching and nurturing talent within the team
- Strong communication skills, the ability to liaise with stakeholders
- Interest to deep dive into the HFT and algo trading industry
- Experience managing teams of 40+ people in a CTO/Head of development position
- Experience developing complex software solutions using various technologies and programming languages
